What makes the iphone 3g wildly popular?

Ok I really do no get this. I do not understand why the apple iphone 3g is often considered as the best mobile phone. Sure, it look really sleek and it is an ipod as well. But what makes it so great? The camera is really not that good and it can't even record videos. I heard you will have to jail-break your iphone in order to do that. I would rather have a phone that is able to do that out of the box. And don't even get me started on Bluetooth for the iphone. So why is considered the best? I know it all boils down to personal preferences, but is the iphone really that great? Or are the people at apple really good at marketing? What is the iphone to you? A status symbol or a great piece of technology?

Well, it's not only a phone it is also a handy computer. Having an iPhone 3G, I can download applications that can help me do things easy. And also, by downloading applications, you can choose different application that soothes your lifestyle for everyday use.
Search more about other information about iPhone 3G, yes it has that negative features but people having that mobile/computer phone are satisfied with what that gadget has.
