How could I read a English novel?

First of all I'm not also that well in communicating and writing in English but I may also want to share how I'm improving and developing these qualities of mine that are not good. I'm not reading novels but I'm watching films or anime that i like to help me improve my communication skills. Some of my teachers says that if you wants to read novels or any articles that are in English and are hard to understand you must set a dictionary besides you and look for the word that you do not understand. After you do understand how it goes you can continue what you are reading and you will now understand it.

If you can get tapes where you can learn english and can you get books that are on tapes that might help you. good luck.

You can start reading the English comic books. They have plenty of pictures in it along with the story. Even If you don't understand meaning of English words, you can guess the meaning from images. Then you can start reading some small stories in English, Also don't look into the dictionary for each and every word, After a some days, You have the ability to understand the story without knowing the exact meaning of English words.
