what's face book-------- is it like orkut

wht's face book i signed up there and they ask about my yahoo account and password should i give it to them and would they share my files or all my email to other user im bit scared so if u have knowlege about this plz help me.

Yes, it's a new networking site. There's nothing to fear about it, the reason why they're asking for it cause I think they're part of yahoo (somebody correct me if I'm wrong), so you could directly login.
What's good with facebook is, it's not just a casual networking site, most people who uses it are professionals, so there's really nothing to lose if you're gonna sign up on it.
