Who would you save...?

This is a question I always wanted to ask... You are trapped on top of a burning building with your ex, and your new lover. There is a helicopter coming to save only two of you. The other person will die. The thing is this, you must choose who you would want to save. It has to be you and the other person. You can't sacrifice yourself to save the both of them, and the 3 of you can't die together. You got to choose. On one hand, you have your ex. You both do have a lot of love for each other, but things just could not work out. You have had a lot of happy memories with your ex. And there is always a special, untouchable place in your heart for him/her. On the other hand, you have your new lover. Your new lover gave you new memories, made you happy and yes you both do love each other very much. She/He made you see that you could still love another after you broke up with your ex. So who would you choose, and why?
