This is an awesome story. I have watched this movie more than once. What are your thoughts on it?

The book story is great. But the movie was ehh. I didn't really care for it. The movie chopped up the story and did not explain a lot of things that needed to be explained. I am hoping that the new movie, which has a new director, is better than the first. The acting in the movie was not very good with many parts between Bella and Edward seeming choppy and forced.
I recommend reading the series. Even though it is also not the best series to ever be written, it is far superior to the movie and will make the story much more enjoyable.

I'm a Twilight addict! I was drawn to Twilight-the movie- mainly because of my addiction to the novel where its plot originated from. However, the movie was not really made that good - or probably different, very different from what I was expecting. I guess I ws just expecting too much although I know that it's really hard to compress an almost 500-page book into a less-than-two-hour movie, having a very tight budget (according to the director). But they did not include some of the events in the book that focused much on Edward and Bella's love story, like the 'blood-typing' part which would have shown Edward's concern and budding love for Bella, his jealousy towards Mike Newton, and another hint that he's not a normal human being. Instead, they inserted scenes that are not of concern in the story, like the field trip wherein Eric showed Bella a "worm" and the fooling-around in La Push beach.

i'm a twilight junkie! i love the movie but i gotta say, nothing tops the books. there is so much that they could have added to the movie, little things, that would have made us book lovers really happy.
