I just got off the phone with my daughter and she told me that CNN is showing live shots of the demonstration in D.C. as well as other cities so, yes, they are demonstrating there dispite whatever permit problems they initially had.
I'm off to the one in West Palm Beach. Our AM talk radio station is broadcasting from there and two of the planned speakers are men I greatly admire. So far the turnout has been great but I fear that parking is going to be a bytch. They're trying to organize a shuttle service and giving the locations of additional parking so I hope they have it worked out by the time I get there. I'll let everyone know how it went and what coverage it got...and I have my sign ready to point out any ACORN infiltrators.

I went to CNN and watched as they called the tea parties a conservative extreme event and going out asking questions like do you know because of Obama you are getting a tax cut and how Illinois is getting $50 billion. Why don't they get it? People are not stupid. It's just a fact that all this though it sounds good right now is only going to come back to nip us in the butt and cost us all 10 times more. It's about the equivalence of a Ponzi scheme. You get a little check here and there something the con-artist gives out to make you feel warm and fuzzy and think hey this is for real. They show you you have this much money that is growing interest everyday that you have invested, You think you are going to make a lot of money and all is good and then that dreaded day comes when the reality shows it's just not possible to get 2% interest a day and you got taken for every cent to gave them. Obama's going to throw American's a few bucks here and there while he takes all our tax money we paid in and takes out a few loans to pass his agenda. I'm sick as a dog unfortunately so I'm here watching it on tv. Makes me so mad but I can't wait to hear from my family and friends how it went. Hope you have luck pointing out the ACORN wackos. Happy Hunting.

A-h-h-h yes - - - the Crooked News Network (CNN), is at it again.
We are also having a tea party here in Oklahoma City at our capital. Will have to check the news tonight to see what they are saying.
Don't you know the major news networks will be a humming tonight and tommorrow about it all?
Most will downplay it - or make us look like we're derranged for attending or supporting them. (Poor ignorant fools LOL) Maybe one day they'll wake up, and realize what's really going on.
The media still wants to "define" our nation, and to that I say (as Fonzie would: SIT ON IT!!)

America will be great again as united all, we stand
It's neighbor for neighbor togetherness and taking back our land
We're sick and tired of the D.C. folks they haven't got a clue
Of what the needs of the people are, and are not listening to YOU
So gathering in places together, we lift our voices high
And let those D.C. folks find out, that they'd better heed the sound of Americans outcry
The cry we make is: 'be fair to us and listen to what WE need'
Stop spending like crazy and and making new rules, that will not fully succeed
So better listen to us, as we make our voice heard - as we gather throughout the land
And know that it's US you should think about - cause for this great cause we'll continue to stand.
So hear us now and know that we're stirred, to take back our freedoms and land
And in 2010 there might be another change, as we vote for the change that we all want, and again - United We Stand

CNN is spewing crap and making fun of Fox News and the tea parties..or at least thats how I took it.
Here's the link,
http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/04/15/tea.parties/index.html
Also notice that in the article they state that the organizers names and phone numbers are listed on the tea party website. WTH? How does that add to the damn article? Thats just inciting violence or some s*it like that.

Oh my gosh... that was such bull. I'm done watching CNN ever again. It's been repeatedly reported that Bush started all the spending on Fox News, they interviewed people from all political backgrounds who are joining in with these tea parties. When it's an anti-war protest that consists of 200 people CNN loves to report it but this is huge. The tea party in Georgia I heard they estimate $15,000 people so far. They are all across the U.S. not just in one place this is something seriously worth reporting and reporting honestly. I agree CNN is looking like they want to stir up trouble by posting names and phone numbers of tea party organizers. It just makes you sick to your stomach.

Just standing united with other American voters who are against high taxes, with more be added on, stimulis expense that will saddle our children and grandchildren with a tax burden as well - - and the folks in Washington D. C. who continually do ‘their own’ thing, and dismiss us as arrogant and uninformed!
We’re also sick and tired of things being passed behind closed doors, and slipped through congress, that will benefit the jerks in D.C. and their cronies, rather that really helping the people that voted for them.
As Obama once said: “change “Is” indeed coming.
