As long as you both know your limitations and know what your priorities are, you will never be in trouble. Whenever there are back subjects, the first one that will be blamed will be your boyfriend/girlfriend. But why put the blame on them? Sometimes, our parents or relatives doesn't look deeper into the situation. They usually do not know that the fault was with what's going on in their family not with that special someone you have. Those family issues could possibly be the reason affecting the student's performance in school.

I feel that as long as you know where to draw the line at, its not a problem. I am a college student right now and am dating a guy. It can be hard when all I want to do is spend time with him, however, he makes sure that I buckle down and study when I need to. He knows how important this is to me, and supports me and encourages me to do well.
