How did you get your cat or cats?

i have six cats one for each of mychildren.i got three kittens from a privat seller that cost me twenty pound each.the three other cats were older when i got them as they needed homes.each cat has different habits which makes each cat an individual.

as for me... one day..(few years ago)..when my fren's cat get pregnant..she ask me..do u want Ubut's kitten (the pregnant cat's name) ... n i said..well..if the kitten is male, have long fur like his dad but pattern like Ubut (which is a bengal type of cat) and the pattern must be symmetrical then i take it... very very fortunately to me..she did deliver a kitten just like what i wanted for...hmm..he's a very special pet of mine..n i named him Hachi (cz he has number 8 pattern on his body)

your cats must be cute. i got my first cat,bought from someone.then a few days, there's a cat came and living at my house. she just came in.i don't know who's belong her.

Two were received through a friend or family member, while they were young. The third cat was actually born in our house since her mother was a stray we temporarily took-in to keep her out of the cold (she ran away :( ).

I got my first cat 13 years ago. I had to move away and leave him nearly 3 years ago, and it still breaks my heart. I loved my cat. But how i got him: i was seven years old and I was at a farmer's market with my mother. A lady and her daughter were there with a just a couple tuxedo (black and white) kittens left. They were free, and my 8th birthday was next month, and i remember begging my mother the whole time we were there for one of the kittens. Finally my mother relented, and I grabbed this 8 week old boy kitten who's fur looked like he had a tuxedo on with white feet (his back was black and his stomach white). I named him Achoo because I had just seen Robin Hood: Men in Tights earlier that week and my favorite character was Dave Chappel's character named Achoo, one of Robin's many sidekicks. He was an amazing cat, and I miss him everyday.

I had a cat, the one that is my avatar; I got her a Vet's Office 22 years ago, she passed away last year. Then I have another, She is 16 years old now and she was my neighbor's cat for about 2 months, they also had a dog, a boxer, and one rainy night she cross over my garden and never went back, they gave her to me. That is my cat's history.
