You'll feel it. when your walking out wearing a Lacoste, for some reasons you maybe wondering why is it being Identified as classy and elegant. But why? This brand is a legend. They believe that simplicity is beauty. I admit it, 1 Shirt of Lacoste is equal to 3-4 Shirts from Nike or from any other Top brands. Whats with the alligator/crocodile...

I actually don't really like Lacoste, but a lot of people look up to it as a brand because of how expensive it is when you buy it from the high-end deparment stores for a pretty penny or two. It's a status symbol, sort of.
I personally like BCBG and Lauren (Ralph Lauren) better - THOSE make me feel good about myself when I'm wearing 'em.

Yeah, its like a status symbol of who you are, something like that. But since there are lots of imitations and lacoste wannabe brands scattered on the flea market here, I might consider that its status no longer in that position. RL is also being imitated nowadays. Even high end clothing lines.

It's not the logo but the cost it represents. Some people think that an original Lacoste would look exactly the same as an imitation, however, I would beg to differ. My father loves Lacoste and he always wears the original ones - he tried one fake Lacoste shirt and we witnessed how its quality deteriorates after few washes where as the original shirts still look good and new even though he has been using them for years.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!
