Today.com is a paid blogging site that pays you in two ways: $1.50-$2.00 per 1000 unique views and $1 per post (1 paid post a day only).
I've had my blog since late December. I've made close to $70-$75, impressions and paid posts combine. Most of my money came from the $1 paid posts.
Recently, they have sent me an email stating that they will only pay me $2.00 per 1000 unique views (that's a 50 cent raise from what i had before) and no more $1 paid posts. LLLOOOVELLYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sons of b*****s.
There was nothing wrong with my blog, it was actually pretty contemporary, go check it out for yourself: http://explosive.today.com
It was a review site for movies, video games and music videos. I started with movies first, then added video games last month and was GOING TO add music videos in June BUT this happened.
I've now lost all of my motivation for this site. I promoted the heck out of it too. In 3 weeks time, I went from being in the top 300 to the 120s so I was doing well. I don't know why on Earth they gave me this rate change. It really sucks.
So instead of posting Daily like I was doing before I'm only going to post once or twice a week to keep it active. It's only gonna be reviews of new movies that come out every week, that's it. Zippo, nada, finished. I'm going to submit everything else to ReviewStream and elsewhere. F*** TODAY.COM!!!

mimiang,
reviewstream pays people per review and not per view, they pay on average 40 cents per review. I made $28.80 so far. 100,000 reviews x 40 cents each = $40,000. The only hard part about that is writing them.
