I would love to be able to travel all over the world...
Having said that, I watched my mom prepare to go to Africa, Kenya to be precise, and the meds she had to take BEFORE she could go would probably make it so I could never travel there.
Why? Because so many pills have corn starch as additives and I don't know if they had it or not, but I would guess that at least some of them did.
Now, I don't know how it is to travel to India, but I'd guess that it would be expected for most U.S. citizens to take preventatives before we left for India and again, I probably could not take them.
Fact is, that because my mother had already taken so many meds to go to Africa, she didn't end up taking all the meds to go to China a year later.
Mind you, she lived in Sacramento California for a yearish while my dad did a study there and never felt any earth quakes, tho from the pictures getting moved on the apartment walls, she knew minor tremors took place. Growing up in NJ and living most of her adult life in Texas she never felt any earth quakes.
So, on her way back from China, she was over nighting in Japan, in a hotel outside Kyoto, when a really big earthquake hit. So, her first earthquake was a BIG one... I think it was the Kobe earthquake, but that doesn't seem to be the right time of year - of course, I could be mistaken....

Okay, these are the vaccines recommended for travel to India.
I have no way of knowing if any of those in pill form have corn starch in them. I could not take them if they did.
Also, while I've never had a severe reaction to anything except epinepherin and codine, I would not want to chance becoming allergic to something else - besides all the foods that I'm already allergic to.
Having said that, I would've loved to travel to India, one of the 4 seats of civilization in the old world, I really love that old stuff.

I have got the interest to see as many different countries in the world as possible. So far I have managed to see 52 countries and there are many more countries listed on my travel wish list. I went around Europe when I was aged 18. At age 20 I traveled around the world for just over one year. When I was 29 years old I went to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. My last trip was to South Africa. I took my toddler son to Cape Town and the Garden Route. I travel by plane, train, bus and sometimes ferry. Unfortunately I am not a bird like a parrot that can fly. I have done para-sailing three times and the feeling of flying like a bird was amazing.

Wow! you are indeed a traveler. Travel the world in one year, that is awesome. Traveling is very addicting I should say. And it is so nice to meet a lot of people while traveling.

Hello Dasari100,
How I wish I can spend my times traveling throughout the world. That is everyone's dream, I think. But due to busyness and others, I can't enjoy traveling too often. I did travel to a few countries especially the neighboring countries but still, that is something I can't shout about at this moment!

There are many places that I would like to see in the world, and many breathtaking scenes which I would like to witness personally. Though we may not be able to go to all the places that we would like to, we can certainly experience them to some extent by talking to those that have been there or experienced those things.

If I have been given a chance and its all a paid expenses tour, why not. i will definitely grab that opportunity. I would love to see the beauty of our world , try to see new different places and new different destinations. I would be very happy if that happens.
