I think that the cost of education should be such as to make a person feel the necessity of work to gain an education. In other words, if universities were free to all, there would be some who would just go just to say they have been there, and the university education would not be valid. I do believe that grants and scholarships should be offered.

I think here the cost of education cost around 10 times what a person earn a month especially professional courses. For example if an average man earns Rs 10,000 per month the cost of professional courses comes around Rs 1,00,000, to Rs 5,00,000 and most students go for education loans.

The trouble is who will pay for it and also what kind of professors it will attract. If the price goes too low, there would be the problem of those going to university who are better at doing on their own and not following a schedule. And one has to be very fast to get to the classes that are in other buildings half way across the campus. I know from visiting when my sons went to university
And thanks for the best response.

If the person works a 40 or more hour work week and has children, chances are they have little time to do anything. What, if anything, could someone that falls into that category do to educate themselves? The absolute best course of action is to make time, no matter how small the respite. Understandably single parents have very little precious time to do anything to help themselves. Again, it is imperative that they do so. It could be before their children wake up, on lunch or break at work or after the children are in bed. Whatever the case may be, find the time.

Now a days education have become like business and the cost is very high and only rich people are able to provide good education for their children. I think the cost of the education should come down and most people should be able to afford it. I think one way is to bring more open universities and more correspondence courses and also provide education through the private universities with affliction of Government Universities.

I think maybe, no. At least, it should stay the same for those who can afford to pay the current costs, but I feel there should be some reduction or assistance for those from poorer families who wish to learn. The fact is that without an education, these days, it's difficult to get a job, so what happens to those who didn't get a good education in their younger days, or those who flunked out? Shouldn't they be given a chance to better themselves? Because they're not educated, they haven't found a decent-paying job, and therefore, can't afford to go back to school and better themselves... they're left on the junk heap. I'm all for educating these people without cost, or for little cost.
Brightest Blessings.

The cost of education, if you look this through Indian perspective, has never been too high for the country has the privilege provided to all its citizen that education until one is secondary level it is free in the Government aided schools.
Only from intermediate level one has to bear cost. The cost , however, depends on the nature of the education. If one gets into a professional course the cost is higher than the 'pure knowledge' education it is still much less.
I do not think the cost of education in the higher level should be less. It should much high as it is in Canada and there should be quota of concession for the poor but talented student and that be acknowledged by the concerned authority.
