Hi ajithlal, just like you, I prefer to lock the cell phone when it is not in use. My cell phone is the type that without cover, so it is easily miss pressed the keypad and would make undesirable call accidentally.
Moreover if any of the buttons is touched unintentionally the lcd of it will on all the time, and this also would consume the energy of the battery. This will definitely shorten the lifespan of the battery and ultimately increase the cost of maintainer
Happy posting.

Thanks for the BR ajithlal
It's really annoying to make a call unintentionally This happened few days back while I was riding on a public transport. I received a call from my son in outstation. He asked about my call a while ago and I told him I never made any call to him just now. I placed my phone back to the hang bag before his call. Oh gosh! most probably the one-touch key was pressed accidentally when it's inserted. It still would happen within a such a short while though it's automatically locked. I think I have to reset the automatic key locked time to avoid such undesirable incident to happen again

Hello,
I like to keep my mobile locked, it is just better because I don't want to call some random number and then find out that all my credit is gone. No way would I want that to happen to me, I just like to play it safe. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Sometimes, I will get a call without talking . I know he/she make a call by mistack after I give back a call. I know the reason is he/she don't lock the mobile.
But I still don't like to lock my call, maybe this is a habit, maybe i am lazy.

I prefer to lock mine when I put it in my pocket while I am walking the dogs, or in my purse, when I am running errands. My phone has a touch screen, so it is very easy to tall somene by mistake. I did that one day, when I was with my best friend in the car. I had forgot to lock my phohe, and before I knew it, I had called her by mistake when she was right next to me driving. Believe me it was embarrssing, as she kept saying hello and I was talking to her at the same time she was trying to amswer her phone, and no one on he phone said anything, but cause it was me. Her and I laughed about it though, as it was funny. Since then, I make a habit to lock it when I am out with it. At home, I don't keep itlocked as I am the only one here, so no one can get into int anyway. Have a good day, and happy mylotting.
