Every year millions of dollars are spent on wildlife conservation projects by the government. While some of the projects proofs successful, others have failed to achieve the stated goals. Is the money spent on these projects are money well spent or should we need to take other initiatives? I think we are in need of these projects as maintaining biodiversity is very important. What do you think?

Man has already contributed a lot in destroying and killing the fellow species in order to satisfy his needs. Now that we have realised that we are doin more harm to the ecology and natural balance, we are tryin to pump in money on wildlife projects. But the fact remains that most of the natural habitats of animals are lost and many species extinct. This is a last bid to save those species which remain. After all humans are not the only species on earth with the right to live!

I completely agree with what you said. But does spending money in the wildlife projects are fruitful. Still hunting and poaching is there. Still animals are being killed every year. At one hand you are spending enormous amount of money and on the other side you are not capable of stopping killing of these animals. So, how far is this expenditure efficient? Don't the government should come up with a better initiative?
