According to a sociology professor at the University of Washington, a bad economy can force people to take up these difficult conversations. If couples learn to work it out as a team, they could emerge with a better relationship. Ideas are coupled and solutions are aplenty because of two heads contributing which finances need to be attended to first, which costs can be trimmed down and which saving-tips to implement.

That can be very ture, but with us, My Hubby like to save and I like to spend, we have been together 16 years. I wish I could save.But I like to spend too much, right now I don't even trust Banks. So I will spend my money!

I agree with that, even if its not finances, I believe that the hardships that a couple faces and overcomes together makes their relationship stronger. The current issue nowadays is mostly finances and it can either strain or strengthen the relationship of a married couple especially when they know that they survived because they worked as a team
