How would you react if a stranger says" I LOVE U".

What a random question. If the person is not drunk, I would say, "OMG! Get away from me you freak!" Lol. Just kidding. I would look this person in their eyes and see if I recognize them. Sometimes we pass angels on the street and never know it. Maybe the person was really an angel.

I do not call this ever happening to me, but I'm sure that my reaction would be to say, "Huh?" I'd probably add, "To whom are you addressing?" Physical action does not seem warranted unless he or she puts a hand on you. Even then, I believe that I could calmly ask that person to remove the offending item.

I am sure that a stranger would not say like it to me and she would not commit such silly mistake....LOL! No, I have never been confronted with this situation and if it ever happens, I will have to say 'wrong number'.

Hi, born1989! I would be appalled, I will say!!! I will wonder who in the world is this person. I will just smile and say, thank you, I guess. If someone just walks up to me and says that they love me, I will be like okay... I don't know you. But, I will try not to be mean.. I will just blush and walk away..

Just ignore it, anyway that is why they are called strangers. I used to get I love you's everyday when i check my mail and go for a social website that gets people to befriend you. Even if they know that i am already married, yet they are still interested. But you see, i don't play with fire and i won't hold a foot for such a trap. Besides, people nowadays say I love you without really understanding the real meaning of it. For them it is just a play, nothing to be serious of and no big deal. But for me, i don't say i love you if i really don't and i don't even mention it as a joke to a person.

I never have had this happen to me. I might react in shock some way. I'm a woman and if it were a man, I might think he was crazy. I might just reply, "SORRY WRONG NUMBER", like you said. If it were a woman, I might just say "I love you, too,"even though I might be somewhat shocked. After all, we're supposed to love everybody.

I honestly have no idea what I would do if a complete stranger would tell me that he loves me. I mean I would probably just look at hime, tell him I am flattered, but have no idea who he is and ask how could he possibly be in love with me.

how would you react if a stranger says "I love you"? Hey thank you friend, that was mighty nice of you to say this to me. It appears that God always have a ram in the bush, this is Mother's day and although both of my children wished me a happy Mother's day, neither one of them bothered to come forth and say "I love you" but I was trying not to let it bother me b/c I had faith that somehow or other God would see me through this dark and dismal time. Anyhow it's nice to know that we have people on line that will show us love even when our own family members fail to do what they should naturally do. God bless you my friend.

How would you react if a stanger says "I love you"? If a stranger simply approached me from out of the blue and said, I love you. I would politely smile and say thanks, I love you too......... Love is such a simple thing it's not nearly as complex as we humans make it out to be...... It cost nothing to give away, just like a handshake, accept for maybe a little bit of your time. But seriously, I wouldn't be offended in the least. I would much rather to hear someone tell me that they love me vs. someone saying they hate me. Hope this helps....

I don't think I would react immediately. I would first be elated then shocked and then what will happen, I know not. Frankly, I think it all depends on my mental state at that moment and the impression the person gave me then. Anyway, this has never happen before. Wait until it happen and then I tell you :P

The only time this has ever happen to me...I was at big reggae festival in Morrison, Colorado, USA. I young man several years younger than i came up behind me and said "I love you!". We laughed and i said " I love you too!" Everybody was stoned and having a very good time there. Feeling good possitive vibes!!!

we dont have to be rude when someone tells us i love you. just stay what you are and say thank you, it means that even there are strangers, we appreciate they love us. be happy. thats its. .

I would regard it as a compliment and respond with a "oh, you're sweet." or something similar. I definately wouldn't say I LOVE YOU back. That would be wierd.

Since I am an ugly boy so there's no one approached me and directly said "I LOVE YOU" to me. What a pity, huh. Well, my words for that situation is, you can just consider it a beautiful joke and don't make a fuss and ignore and be off. Maybe you look great and he/she really likes you and they are afraid of your walking away. Maybe they just want to give it a shot. Or maybe they just want to test whether they can do that to a stranger. But to those who are vicious, just stand up straight and fight back. That's only my thoughts on this, you may just also ignore this. hahaha
