The Da Vinci Code - scandalous???

I feel this is a scandalous book. It defames Jesus and brings forth unthinkable and unspeakable ideas about the Christ. The writer says that it is a work of fiction. How can it be a work of fiction, when it features real people who lived? This is deformation of Jesus' character and blasphemy.

It's only blasphemy if you believe in Jesus and what the Bible says.
