which one do you prefer. ??/ i know both are important and difficult in their own way but i have my exams coming up in a week . as i'm having a lot of pressure right now, i feel working is much more better. i also feel studying is a lil more tedious and tiring and i'm feeling tired to the core now ...

I felt study is little more easier than work and that's why I always enjoyed my examination time. Alas! my study period is over and I don't have to take examination anymore.
But there is a bright side of it that i can use my degree to get more money from the company where I would work, sin't ti?

Yes working is much better to me. Studying for test is not fun at all. Test are only good for people who know the subject completely and they don't have to study. I still think getting up each morning to go to work is alot more fulfulling especially if you like your job.

Hi, abcnadz! I prefer to study. I learn many things when I am focusing on a subject. When I have to go to work, I will have to deal with being pressured into doing something that I don't want to do. When I study, it is just me and my books. I love the quiet time alone.

ya i agree with u that working is sometimes much better . well but nowadays i do both , well i don't have any exams on my head but still i study since i have formed an habit of doing it . actually i work 5 hrs a day on mylot and earn some money , and then i study 4 hrs in a , it is quite a busy schedule but i don't have other options, and this schedule gives me every thing , money as well as studying.

hello prinzcy ..i know people who do this , work for a while and then get back to studies. after schooling even i had plans to work for a year and then get back to studies by applying for a degree but my parents didn't let me do so and the explanantion they gave me was that.. once you start earning you forget about studies.. so i joined college cause a basic degree is needed .
and i'm sure that your plan will work out if you allocate proper time for everything.
thanks for the response and have a great day

It totally depends on oneself weather he/she wants to continue further studies or get a job. it all depends on your interest.
I would prefer to go for higher studies as I am an engineering student and I have a great interest in my field. This also increases my qualifications and will make me more employable too.

Studying hands down. Although it can be tedious and stressful at times, I think it's interesting and I like learning new things and using my mind. I'm not a big fan of work because unless you're doing something you truly enjoy, it's a daily grind. I also don't like the hierarchy in the workplace nor the petty office politics.

I would say study but that is because I am not a student. I study independently quite often to learn something new or investigate something that interests me. I only work to have moneey.

In the past, my view about studying is working. I need to study to have a work but if I have a work I don't need to study anymore-that's my view in the past.
But now, I realize that studying is more important than working. We need to study so that when we work we can contribute more. In the scientific community, I think this view is valid. Most work needs studying because research is their job. If you like both, go and be involved in the scientific community.

both of them are important... but i like study even i has many exams... i can get more information in my study... and the important think is... i still thinking study is like a fun for me... well...
come on... you can work from beginning of your life until the rest of your life... doing the same think in the job... just like me... it's quite boring... meet the same people (a ittle changes) with a depressed with work a whole day, a whole year, maybe a whole life.... OMG...
so remember this... we study at school from 4 years old until 20-25 years.. maybe 30.... you will spend all your life with work after that... wake up in the morning and going back to home in the night...
i do a family business right now... i need to wake up 8 AM... and work with no breakfast... until 7 PM.... and continue to do my job from 9-10 PM until 12 PM.....
but of course the money is just great... i can buy a car each a month with my profit

im my case i like studying better than working. true that you learn a lot about life thru work and studying is mostly a routine, i still like it. i like learning and going to school. i miss it. if i were, just savor the perks and enjoy being a student. pressure to get good grades is part of it but don't let it be your only goal. have fun. you'll only be young once.
i have to admit that now that im working i can actually afford to go to school again but time doesn't permit it. hayy!

I am a student as well and with school coming to an end it's kind of hectic. I work full time as well. I think you need to a little of both. Remember that you need to take breaks and have some fun in there too. Don't let either thing stress you out or you will not even be able to take those finals. :)

I agree that it is difficult to be a working student. Time management is important. Now that the way of life is difficult you need to work to have an extra money for you studies. Lack of sleep and tiredness are going to affect your studies because it hard to concentrate and to have a focus if your body doesn't functioning well. Perseverance is the only motivation to accomplish them.

my working friends always tell that if only they'd have the chance to go to school again, they'll grab the tough opportunity. But if you are not dependent or if you think your parents can still provide your studying, enjoy and take time studying first. there is always a time for everything. I suggest you focus on what is in the present, for what you do today will greatly affect your future. Study hard and get high grades, high grades would also mean good credentials. which will bring you to your desired job someday.

I am not sure what your degree is going to be in but you will always have deadlines and presentations of one kind or another. It will not be grades, but raises or simply getting and keeping the job that will be on the line in many cases. These pressures are just a part of life and how you deal with it is important. Although I do remember when I was in College I always locked my keys in the car every finals week. So grin and bear it, this to shall pass.
