Do you try to prove yourself best student?

In school days, I always tried to prove myself as a best student. As a result, I hardworked much and could be succesful upto class VIII.I changed my school thereafter.In Class IX, I met one friend who beated me in all fields wether in study or sports. I was very much upset then. I multiplied my hardwork to go ahead of him. But I could not go beyond him.He was always ahead of me and I could not prove myself to be best boy. Do you any such incident? Please comment.

No,i hate to go to school.In my XII my commerce sir believed me and had a trust on me that i will good rank in exams but i don't like this.So,i just stopped going college in last 4 months.
Ya ! i really don't like to prove myself as a best student.As i hate to go college and school
