MLM & Network Marketing

I wanna start off with a big question please answer... What comes first comes to mind upon hearing the terms MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) or Network Marketing? and why? just asking...

For some reason, MLM makes me think of scams. I know, it's negative, but I guess it's because of what I see in the media. A lot of MLMs close down for some reason, leaving their down-lines in a rut because they spent much but didn't get to earn. Still, I think there are honest MLM companies out there, maybe I just watch too much negative news.

It's alright you're not negative and there's no right or wrong answers here. I appreciate your thoughts. The industry has been like that since who knows when. I guess you've had your own experience on this companies, right?

The first thing that comes to my mind is leverage and passive income. The reason for that is MLM is the best way fo the average person to leverage themselves and create passive income.

"OWN YOUR LIFE" that is a direct quote from Michael Dlouhy, he wrote the e-book success in 10 steps, and guest wrote in Chicken Soup for the Network Marketers soul, and the founder of Mentoring For Free! It comes to mind first, because that is the dream, to be independent of others, and I believe it. I am aware of the scams that are out there, but Michael teaches us how to recognize them.
