How is your typing?

In my computer we have speed typing test. Of my result in typing is only 35wpm and the accuracy is only 97%..I think my typing is not so fast. I need the time to practice in typing.

i can type quickly but sometimes my thoughts get ahead of my fingers so im not always that accurate with my typing all the time. my friends tell me to slow down that i type too fast. i couldn't even tell you how many words per minute i could do i did take a typing class in school but that had to be 9th or 10th grade so i really long time ago for me. i definitely think that i can type faster then i did in high school. i would like to be a little more accurate then i am but in the overall i think i do ok. when i'm typing on here i don't like to mispell things but i do every now and then cause sometimes i'm in a little too much of a hurry to say what i want to say.

Funny you should ask that! I'm a 61yr. old male and back in high school a friend and myself took typing as an elective in high school,mainly because it was mostly females in the class. LOL! But the teacher was cool and we did good I think I was at the 45wpm range, but like anything else unless you do it a lot you lose it, except for riding a bike! One of the reasons I joined Mylot was to brush up on my typing skills and it has helped me out. However I'm sure glad the invented spell check! Have a good one! tdemex

The last time I took one (at the beginning of this year), I clocked in at 60 wpm. Last year, I tested it and I think it was 52 wpm so it's been great. I do touch-type and doing the occasional transcription work does help a lot. :D

I have been typing since high school and I'm now in my fifty. The last test I took was 77wpm. I love to type! I have worked for the past 32 years and now I'm home taking care of my grandchild and wish I could find a good typing job working from home making money.

Good day, mermaidivy. Well, you are good in typing. I don't use all my fingers when typing that's why i am slow when typing on the keyboard. Instead, I use my phone when typing because it is more comfortable rather than using keyboard. This was my response, happy mylotting..=)

Hello mermaidivy, The last time I checked (about a year ago) my typing speed was above 50 wpm and 100% accuracy. I can type quite fast without looking at the keyboard. You can take an online test at TypingTest.com and see whether your typing skill has improved or not.

I have no trying of typing.I think my typing rapid is faster and faster.
