I know a 7 can beat a 2.Before the playoffs started, it was Detroit that , in small circles, was the one in trouble. But after seeing The Caps last night I am a little worried. They came out flatQuestion, Can you see The Rangers or Columbus win?

There is no reason to panic over your team. Washington dominated most of that game and showed why they are the second ranked team in the league. They were fast on the puck, they consistant in applying pressure, made the most of their powerplays against the best penalty kill in the league, and put a lot of pressure on Lundqvist to keep his team in the game. Where I would panic is your goaltender. Every time Washington had taken full momentum of the game a little softie gets by Theodore. Momentum gone and you've given up a goal. Lundqvist has the ability to steal games for the Rangers, but Theodore cost the Capitals a game. I said before the series the Washington offense is enough where Theordore didn't have to be great, just good, even decent. Last night he was awful.

Thanks. I am too close to really see the game objectify, All I could see was my Rangers were beating my Caps. This is hard for me to see. As i write this, it is about 10 minutes before game two, I am not going to see all of it.Maybe I can bring the Caps some luck. I hope it was nerves with Theordore..

If it was nerves for Theodore, I wonder how the rookie may feel. Just six career starts under his belt and getting the call for game 2. I don't know that i like this move but i wish him all the best in there this afternoon

i wouldn't worry until your team is down at least 2-0 then they may be in trouble i thought that washington would easily beat the rangers since the rangers hadn't been very good most of the season and washington was the next best team behind boston, but i guess that's why you throw out the records come playoff time cause it only means you get one more home game if the series goes to 7 games past that it doesn't mean much just matters who wants it more. not a big fan of washington's goalie montreal and colorado did get rid of him is he good enough to carry them through if they don't score alot of goals.

i saw detroit and columbus tonight and detroit completely controlled the entire game. i don't think they are going to have alot of trouble with them unless they can steal some games at home. columbus doesn't have very much expirence in the playoffs except for michael peca who used to be good a long time ago when he played for buffalo. its been a long time since he's even been healthy a whole season. columbus didn't manage many shots against detroit and they will have to do alot better just to make it interesting. did anyone see the chicago game against calgary our first ot of the playoffs and it didnt take long for chicago to end it.

I saw the Detroit game. It was great. I love the Red Wings . You are right, the game looked like boys playing with men, The Wings hhave been in the playoffs and they Knew what to expect, while the Blue Jackets were figuring it out as they went along. The first period was good hockey. I guess both teams were feeling each other out.I am not as worried about the Wings. The Caps? They are different. They have made to the playoffs but they have been out in the first round. I thought with Ovie and Semin and Federov they had enough. I was surpeisede that we made the second seat.Well, I guess I will know which Caps team they are after game 2.
