What is the best gift for a baby godchild?

I will be attending the christening of my friend's baby and I have not bought a gift yet. Please share what is the best gift for a baby girl. If you are the parent, what will you appreciate more as a gift? I want something that can be used by the baby. What if it is a boy? I might be a godmother again for a baby boy and I want to plan ahead =) Thanks

I would appreciate gifts that are usable and practical. Gifts the baby could use like clothes, bottles, blankets and other things.

all right thanks! will search for cute clothes, bottles, blankets that are also affordable. thanks! hopefully something unique that not many godparents will probably give as gifts too.
