Why do men behave like jerks so often?

Unfortunately, we too often allow ourselves be played for the fool. That does not mean that we are idiots. More often than not, we try to believe in the goodness of people, and so much want to be loved, that we often become the victims of those that are out for a game. I've been through too much of it lately so I've removed myself from the "available" list, at least for now. I know that I'm missing out, but I really don't even want to allow a chance of being played again.

It's their nature. It's very hard to find an honest and good man. Ironically, I'm sure those that are honest and good are asking the same question, but regarding women! I guess the real questions is...How come it's so hard for us to find each other!! Aloha!

i think its wrong to jump to conclusions like that, since one or two did like that, all are not the same, do u believe that there are boys who are so shy to talk to girls..that they even wudn't express their feelings to the right ones their hearts desire...there are girls too, who get impressed by one's appearance rather than one's personality, and fall for exactly the wrong ones...but that doesn't mean, all the girls are very naive right? thats the way it goes...

I am sorry you have been hurt by a man. Do not let one jerk spoil your opinion of other men. They are not all like that at all. My husband is a kind gentleman. And if my son treated a girl badly he knows he would have to answer to his sister and I!

Sometimes I think it is because some Men just really have no feelings towards women to where it would Hurt them to see one Hurt and crying. Maybe due to their Machoism, or way they were raised, but I think that makes less of a man personally when they are like this.

I dont think all men are jerks. Thats like saying all women are sensitive & mushy...we arent all like that. I think it just depends on the type of guy you are allowing into your heart? The types of guys you are hanging out with...I know alot of guys who are jerks...but I also know a ton that arent. I just keep away from the jerky ones! and I most def dont let them near my heart :P

I've bumped into one like the one u described. He took my virginity and my soul. Now,I'm thankfull for that because now i know how to separate these guys from the rest. There are tons of great guys outhere,that are just waiting a bit of your attention. U just have to find them. Good luck,girl!
