In the past I had a dog. He wouldn't eat the food from a stranger or on the street. He had a good habit and only ate the food that we gave him. And when he looked forward to food, he would sit down in front of you well and looked at you with tender eyes

Good afternoon, youless. It is a very nice and clever dog of yours not eat food from strangers as well as that on the street for safety. Well, my poodle used to eat the food we gave her as well. You know, dogs are very clever animals as well as cute ones. I love dogs for their being cute and playful, but not those big dogs, which are scary to me. Good day, youless.

But sometimes I think that the small dogs often bark the strangers without any special reasons. Whereas big dogs keep silent. But once they bark, it must be something that you should keep alert

Hello youless. When my poodle saw someone who came to pay a visit to us, he would be very nervous and try to hide herself somewhere and bark, which was interesting of her...

That is a sign of a dog well trained my friend! It takes a lot of obedience for a dog to refuse food from a strangers hands as I think most dogs would take it! I know when we had a dog he was always sniffing out titbits from anyone, give him some food and he would be your friend for life, this is not always a good thing, especially when dogs start to get fat and you have to be cruel to be kind for their benefit as extra morsels could add on extra pounds leading to obesity problems.

But it seems that some dogs were born like this. Perhaps this is their character

When we had a dog, she'd eat anything that any person would put infront of her. However, in North America, it's not really common to feed strange dogs, because one never knows what kind of food the stranger is offering. Because of this, I never had a problem with strange people feeding my dog.

I think that my dogs would take food from anyone that offered...but I wouldn't advise anyone just walking up and trying it. So if anyone wants to come feed my dogs, you are welcome, just do me a favor and throw the food over the fence cause they aren't picky about what they eat for desert.

Interesting, my dogs are also trained to not tkae any food from strangers, whether at home or on the street. Its just too dangerous as you wont know if they are good or bad people. Some people may even wants to poison your dogs.

Surprisingly my dog will not eat food from a stranger. I think he may eat food off the street. The situations never occurred so I can’t say for sure. He will drink water from puddles. My dog at one point was a stray so when it comes to wet food or treats he’ll eat until it’s gone which is why I say surprisingly. When a stranger offers my dog food he won’t eat whatever it is unless I take it from the stranger and feed it to him.
