MyLOt is reducing my point? from 149 now its down to 144?? WHY?

It means you have responded on a discussion which violated the myLot guidelines. It was deleted and that includes your response. Try to be a little more choosy when it comes to responding to discussions. myLot has cleaned up it's system a few days ago. Stars to get to change depending on the quality of your posts. If myLotters liked what you posted, they will rate you positive for that. You may have written a quality post on a reported discussion. Don't worry, you are not alone. Some even had worse. Just get used to it and move on. The more you'll get frustrated, the more you won't reach your target.

This is happening to me also.

This happens at times especially when a discussion was deleted by mylot admin and that also means reduction of your points and earnings, just keep on posting discussions and responding ones, another trick I learn from one mylot user is that, its better to respond to old discussion since it has a very little chance of deletion.

hey there i also have observed this problem not only my stars but also my points reduce sometimes .... even i want to know why this happens?????

hahahah, well it seems to me that even if i type quality posts and i swear i do, i think, the star on mine doesn't seem to be changing..haha..anyway, i have been in your situation before and like you too, i write and track my points down in a very tiny notebook just forthe sake of knowing my activity...I think the points went down because someof the discussions were in violation to the guidelines...and so if the whole discussion got busted then i guess our posts will be gone too hence the decrease in points...^_^

Mylot will deduct your points, They deduct points all the time. It is now unusual.

Yes, that often happened to me also, it is true surprisingly. I wonder why mylot does not send any notification that our discussion or respond violating they term and conditions.

The main reason the number of posts you have made has decreased is because mylot have deleted some of the discussions you have responded to. It may not have been your fault and is mainly down to other users posting referral links or other information which breaches mylot rules. This is unfortunate when mylot do this as it more often than not also reduces your earnings to so you may have notices your account balanced may have reduced slightly. This has happened to me a few time in the past so the only advice I can give you is to steer clear of discussions with referral links or anything you think that might breach the rules. Hi , i think it happens to all of us, it is mylot's quality control in place lol - It has happened to me a couple of times. I think we need to follow the guidelines and choose our discussions and answers with discretion and care. One way of looking at it is that it has effectively reduced spamming on this site. Star ratings too change depending on members and how they rate your posts ..

Ya, me too i have noticed the same, today i see 50 cents and again after 2 days when i login again i shock to see that my points are 48 cents and it get reduced, i think if we dont post or visit regularly they reduce our points

Hello asianwind I think it is probably because of the deletion of the posts you replied. Or maybe we should only answer meaningful discussions, it may help.

Hi there, asianwind! This is one thing that happened to me also a lot when I was new. Ofcourse, now also some of my posts get reduced but not that much. Its probably because we must have written something that the admin says as a violation of the rule. Or sometimes the discussions in which we posts must be a non-relevant one. Now I am not that active on mylot as I have to study for my exams atleast one more month and so hope to catch up soon wherever I left!!

I only know from this that there will be this things happen.maybe we should more careful to not say somethings which is forbid

It happens to everyone I think. When the discussions we reply get deleted we get less points. One of the reasons that the discussions get deleted is because some of the discussions does not obey the myLot terms and condition. I think when a person puts links to various websites in order to promote the websites the whole discussion gets deleted. I think the quality of the discussion do matters and discussion with less quality gets deleted.
