Chinese Spring Festival

spring festival is one of the Chinese traditional festivals,it is also the most important festival in China.the festival lasts about 15 days.
on spring festival,all people come back home to enjoy family reunion.on the eve of the spring festival,the whole family get together for a big dinner.people stay up to eat dumplings at midnight for good luck and health.
for spring festival,dumpling is a must,of course there is also other food.for instance,eat chicken for good luck,eat fish for rich,etc.
do u have the same day for the dead like our spring festival?how do you like it?

not only for china . is for all Chinese , I'm from Singapore and we do the same thing as what china did . like lunar dinner ,tong dinner ,and dumpling dinner, but in Singapore due to work a lot family did not really join the family dinner.
