It happens with me sometimes, but I ask my mother to give my cell phone and then keep it in the window so that I can receive calls when I am bathing.
Well If someone is going to call me then I will take it with me to avoid call-back.
Some times I even use speaker by turning off shower and tap.
Nice think to start just few hours before my thinking.

Hello. If my mobile phone was ringing while I was in the bath, I'd let it ring. Unfortunately, I do not have voice mail set up on it so I'd have to wait till I get out before I could see who called. :D Besides, I wouldn't want to get my phone wet or dry off in the middle of soaping up. LOL

Sadly I will. I get so few phone calls I always will figure it is urgent so I will wrap a towel around me and get the phone call. IT is always a bummer when it turns out to be a wrong number or a sales call.
I am accustomed to shower interuptions with the husband and the kids.

I don't think so. The only time I think I'd take the phone with me is if I was expecting an important call. I would answer it then for sure, but then again we have an answering machine. I would just let the answering machine get it unless it was someone or something that I knew would not leave a message.
Otherwise the phone would stay on the hook and I might not even hear the phone ring!

Yes, of course not everyone leaves a message, bill collectors etc will sometimes just hang up on the machine. It's very rude if you ask me.

I usually will not take my phone into the bathroom. So there is no question of me picking up the phone or answering the call when I am in the shower. I rarely take the phone in only when I am expecting a urgent important unable to miss kind of calls. Which like I said is very very very rare. Its just not important enough usually. And due to mobile phones you know who has called when you do come out of the shower.

If I am in the bath and not expecting a call I will let it go to voicemail. There is just too much hassle of getting up getting dried off enough... streaking (literally) through the house to get the phone.
And I am not taking my iPhone to the tub so that is out of the question.
Thanks
Zelo

Nah, I won't because I have a voicemail system and if people look for me urgently, they could leave a message on the voicemail and I will get back to them after finish the bath instead. If they don't leave a message and if it's not a number I recognise, then I wouldn't call them back.

Hi, youless! Even if I am expecting a phone call, I will still not get out of the shower to answer my phone. I will let it ring so that the caller can leave a message on my answering machine. I don't want to risk falling or getting hurt over a phone call. If it is really important and urgent, they will leave a message on my voicemail. And if not, since I have caller ID, I will check to see who last called me. I will decide if I want to return their phone call or not.. If they didn't leave a number or message, then it must not be that important.

Hi there!
Well most of the time I pick it up. I take the call cause it could be someone important. But if I'm in the middle of taking a bath and with the suds still on my body, no I will not take the call. But I'll do try to finish fast in taking a bath so I can pick up the phone. If it stops ringing, then sorry, I am taking a bath.
Funny but before taking a bath I wonder who might call cause I don't want to miss a call. There are times I would hope that no one calls while I'm taking a bath.
Ciao!

No, I will not because I don't keep my phone in my shower room or toilet. I will be leave it ringing until I complete my job. Simple and easy.
But the rings would be annoyting to me as I don't use answering machine, otherwise I would set a voice as "Sorry, I am taking shower, please call after some time"!

hmm but I would love to have as the phone use to rings for a minute or two which I don't like at all. Most of the time there are others in the house who receives the call too make me feel relieved but when there is no one in the house then I use to increase the power of my shower to avoid rings from phones!

Hi youless, pick up or not pick up, this usually depends on the situation then. Normally I won’t rush out the bathroom, if there is any phone ringing outside. I know if it is really an important call, surely the phone owner will ring me again.
If I find my husband forgets to bring his cell phone out together with him, I most probably would pick out the phone outside. Of course I will drape my wet body with the big bathing towel before stepping out the bathroom.
I won’t rush to the ringing phone, if I’m doing the essential daily routine, sitting on the toilet seat. You know we couldn’t stop doing this grand business at anytime we wish
Have a nice day and happy posting.

I won't take the call if I am bathing, till I know any urgent call is about to come. I do not receive many calls and if I am in bathroom it becomes difficult to talk to the caller. I can check out the call, when I come out of the bathroom and call back the caller.

Hi youless,
It depends for me, when I am waiting for something very urgent, I will bring my phone in the shower room and any time I am ready to answer any call.. But, when it is not, I will not bother about it, I will just give a return call!

i will pick up the call only if it is a really unexpected call or if the caller keeps on calling again and again. if someone keeps calling like that it means it's urgent. i usually do not pick up calls from unknown numbers. i dont encourage picking up calls in the shower coz i have no intentions of spoiling my phone
have a great day

NEVER!! i hate answering calls when i am in my shower or even eating food.
I dont like to tlak much on phone though, but even if i do i usually never attend them during my personal work, i seriously hate it when some of my own relatives doing that.
like taking calls when dinner or lunch. or talking on the phone when you are in your restrooms..
i never do it, as nothing is more important for me than myself
happy mylotting
