Starting an ice cream shop.

Well, not a Ice Cream Shop as here it is cold for almost 6 months out of the year. And I wanted a coffee shop and book store. With other gifts as well to sell. I would like that. Books for sale and to read for free. A few tables and couchs to sit on. How fun would that be go to the shop and have coffe talk to the other people or do your cafts and read. If I had an ice cream shop I would weight 200 lbs and be closed within a month! but I would like to have a gift shop/bookstore.....that would be my dream. I do craft sales and sell my books and handmade gifts so I am lucky to have my little traveling boutique!

Hi, VANILLAREY! I have not thought about starting an ice cream shop. I could not handle eating that much ice cream.. I would burst! I love sweets too! Well, I have thought about signing specialty cards for people. These people will let me write their names or a message on the cards. I would do this for people and businesses that did not like handwriting. I love to write out cards. And then people love my handwriting too! I think that this would be fun!

yes, i always wanted an ice cream shop, all of my friends could come and eat for free... I'd make a killing in profit too because i live in a small town without an icecream shop for 20 miles.

hi yeah i know the summers in mumbai can be quite harsh-even the summers in Goa where i stay are very hot and humid.usually in summers i like to sip in cool drinks-not soft drinks mind you like cold nimbu paani,cold kokam soda and teneder coconut water.i usually avoid icecreams coz i have sensitive teeth-of course i like chocobar and cones.

You know, I've actually never thought opening up my own ice cream shop. It does sound like a really good and fun idea. It definitely sounds like something that I would enjoy doing. There's even a few empty buildings around my town that I think, given a few changes and such, would be perfect places for an ice cream shop. One is a building that's even on the highway. This particular building used to be a Wendy's in my town up until several weeks or months ago and was closed down when they moved up the highway.

ice cream shop does sound like fun but keep in mind alot of work comes with it.i do have my own business i do wedding and birthday cakes .it is work but more fun then ever.i hope some day to have a full bakery.

I worked in a sweet shop and beleave me after a while you soon get fed up with them and don't bother,at first you have sweets whenever you want them ,but like I say after a while you don't want them.xxxx

i also love to run icecream shops ,but now i can;t put it as i don;t have enough money with me and i don;t know business ideas also. u carry on and put a icecream parlour ,if u have enough money. u can get good profits with this icecream parlour in summer. in winter also ,u can get good sales ,but somewhat less than summer. i will be first customer for u ,if u put a icecream shop. don;t forget to invite me ,to have icecream freely in u;r shop atleast once after u have opened u;r shop. after u open u;r shop ,if we eat it continously daily ,u can get more health problems like u can become too fat person or u;r teeth can damage .so be careful and eat less . other than icecream shop i want to put restaurent ,or atleast one bakery shop on my own ,without my husband's support. so pray for me ,for putting one restaurent,one bakery,and one icecream shop. with all u;r prayers ,lets hope i can put all those shops. and u are allowed free to my restaurent and bakery shop. but not free for icecream shop ,because i have to affraid whether u will eat more icecream in my shop.so u are not allowed freely to my icecream shop... if we want to put icecream shops ,first we must have business tactiks then only we can run our icecreams shops ,in a successful way i think. so lets hope for our best.

The best would be to open an ice cream shop in the summer season when the throat soaks mostly deprived of water and then more customers would come by. It would be ideal to get an early profit and be on track as you would be having enough publicity by that time. No, i have not thought of starting an ice cream parlour but if its like a side business earning enough profit, then i would be more then happy to start it.

Lolz..starting an ice creal shop is good! Coz you can have ur ice cream all the time. But, as I know, not many ppl like to buy as I am staying in a hot country. (Malaysia). I always saw the ice creal seller who riding motor, shaking the ring bell and go here and there, but end up a little of selling. Yet, during some festival of Chinese, like 'Cheng Meng', there will b a lot of ppl who desire for ice cream. For me, I dont like to sell ice cream.. I would like to set up my own boutique shop. I had set up a stall b4 with fren. But I am juz a student, couldnt make it very well. But this will be done after we have more capital. :)

I never thought of starting an ice cream shop or other shop.I don't like stand before table waiting customer to buy my things.I think you idea is a very good one for you beacuse it is you wish.Do whatever you want to.
