i have heard that in the West, each year a student is promoted to different grades and that there can be double promotion too. in this case a brilliant student can complete his schooling at the age of 10 or 12. But, this is not the case in the east, each student has to pass each class up to 12th class even if he is brilliant or not. which one do u think is the best method of education?

the education in the west is more stable then the east, in the west very less students are detained and their is no politics in schooling or the drama like in case of east, specially the case of indian eductaion, even tho their is no match to the quality of the education provided in india, the system used still hold backs the rights of many students, and the fact that 30+ students per class makes it impossible for a teacher to concentrate on a single student and later the student suffers being called a "dumb" etc etc, this has happened with my of my own friends and some of them came so close to having sucidal tendencies because being detained in 10-12th grade after working so hard is painfull, and not to forget that their is LOTS of politics involved in easter education system, a student having contacts with school presidents, principle or management is never detained even tho they fail 4 or bunk school
also the grading system in the west is nice, giving grades from A-F is better then giving marks from 0-100, beacuse when students realize the close markings their starts competition and lots of stress and the burden they recive from their families, parents and teachers - the student is basically deprived of his life as all he does is study for the sake of getting good marks and what happens in the end??
after graduation even top graduates with top degrees end up in a career they never wanted, the path chosen in the east system is decided by the teachers, parents, but in the west its decided by the students, which is very good thing
