I want a star

I have noticed many names with stars next to their names and some numbers on it. When will I get a star? What do I do to qualify for a star?

Hi Kavitina and welcome to myLot!
You will get your star as soon as you see 100 by your name.
You will reach 100 easily if you are patient and avoid all the topics that break the rules because they will be deleted and you would lose both numbers and earnings. Slowly but surely your earnings and your number will increase if you are active.

I think if you reach at least 100 posts, you'll eventually get a star.
But you know what? I barely noticed the star thing until I came across a discussion talking about such. When I joined mylot, I just enjoyed so much that stars didn't matter.
Well now that I am a 9, I have grown conscious to it but it did take a while before I reached this spot. I'm not as great as the ones with ten of course but it's an accomplishment for me.

I know that the stars do not matter. In fact I am enjoying myself here that probably I would not notice when this after sometime. But since I was new here and looking at discussions to respond to I was just wondering why some names had stars while the others did not.

have patience just response and post till it reach 100 and I bet one day unexpectedly you will be surprise to see the star standing near your name...Happy Posting !!
