If you like one type of music and your partner prefer some other type, and one day he just put his music loud in the house and you cannot stand that what will you do? I you think he will mind if you tell him directly, then what method will you choose to adopt?

Most of the music I listen to is relaxing and cool, I don't think my partner won't like some cool music playing in the house.

It is strange as she will not prefer cool music but maybe her choice is very special. Happy mylotting reploid !;-)

My discussion is for both the genders. I listen to metal and my boyfriend always tells me to listen to it with a reasonable volume.;-)

If something in the music is bothering me, I will just take the car key and go out to get fresh air or go away for a few hours. This will send signals to him that I am not in favor of the loud music he is listening.

For me it's difficult to hate some type of music, but I don't like to listen it too loud. I have this problem with my father, he some time exaggerate and when it's enough I just turn down the volume because it's too much higher than I can't talk to him to turn down!!

My brother is like that. He just cannot listen to music unless it is played loudly and I get irritated when talking to someone else in the house and they cannot hear what I am saying ;-)

In the past I've asked them to either turn it down, put on earphones, I will put on earphones and listen to something else, or go to another room. Compromise, compromise , compromise!

hello zoey7879, This is not fair to always compromise. I would better tell them directly so that they can compromise as well.
