How to win friends?

Hello,mylotters!
I'm a highschool girl.I have to say I'm too shy to show myself.I don't like to talk much.So there are only few friends around me.I know I should learn to be more outgoing.When I have a talk with another classmate,I tried hard to find something to talk about. I'm so far away from them.
Can you help me? Thanks

hi , and welcome to mylot , well im too a high school student and i too used to be shy sometimes before and didnt had good friends, well but now i m not shy at all . u know u need to forget about people before u can make friends. and also u can make online friends and talk to them frankly , since this can be a type of practice how u can talk in real life . well because it is always better to practice first . isn't it . i too became frank this way. i made some online friends and then i used to talk to then wht ever i wan to talk to then , since they don know me , i dont have to be shy with them .
