Different cultures have their own ways of behavior.People from differet cultural backgrounds may have very different belifes, religions, customs and habits.Ignorance of culture differences often cause misunderstanding, offense,or embarrassment in cross-cultural communication. In order to aviod misunderstanding or giving unnecessary offense. We need to develop a cross-cultural perspective. Here are two basic ways to help deal with cultural differences: First of all,we must bear in mind that all cultures are equal, however different some cultures may seem from our own.Having a respect for other cultures is an effective way to promote international communication, since understanding can only be reached if we willing to treat people from other cultures as equals.Second ,we can avooid unitentonally offending others by learning the basic characteristics of other cultures. It is good policy to ask your foreign friends or business associats about their everyday customs and let them know your customs as well. As China opens to the outside world ,more and more are involved in international business transactions or cultural exchanges in various areas. It is important that we should improve our awareness of cultural differences so as to prepare ourselves for sucessful cross-culture communication.

I am very keen on traveling and so far in my life I have visited more than fifty different countries in the world. I am always aware of and respectful towards cultural differences. I know that people can have a religion that influences their way of life. I went to Eilat in Israel and ladies can wear bikinis and men can wear shorts there. Just over the border it is like a different world with the men dressing a bit like Lawrence of Arabia. I went to Aquba and saw ladies, the only thing uncovered was their eyes. They didn't speak much English but they were very friendly. Respecting them I kept my arms and legs covered. The weather was very hot indeed and I was enjoying an incredible amount of sunshine. I view the people of the world, whatever their culture, as being equal. I would love to visit China one day and before then I will find out more about its culture.
