There is a long bridge that connecting the 2 Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia & Bahrain. It is very long and nice view. You can either have a tour and site seeing. But if you want to cross the bridge you should have a visa, if you are not member of GCC.
Have you ever travel to a such long bridge like this one?

Hi otobits, thanks for sharing the information about the Bahrain Bridge. After reading your post I then come to know that Saudi Arabia and Bahrain is connected by the Bahrain Bridge. Yeah, I could imagine it must be delightful riding on the long bridge. We could enjoy watching the beautiful scene on either sides of the bridge.
I think we need to deal with certain procedures and pay for the required amount of money to get the visa for crossing the bridge.
I hope I would have chance to have sightseeing along the beautiful bridge.
Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hi dear,
Yes, you are right in telling that we may need visa for crossing the bridge.
Last year, one of my contact went to Kailash mansarovar with a group of peoples.
If i am right, I think it is in Nepal, he was asked passport(not sure about visa) for crossing the bridge which is actually not a big bridge at all.
Only by that time, I came to know about this types of formalities.
I just read from Wikipedia that Bahrain bridge is 40kms in length. It would be great pleasure to have a travel on that Bridge.

Yeah dear, this means that the bridge is inside the range of the country which visitor needs to show the permit (visa) given by the country before stepping in. Before visiting to countries like Japan and Turkey which I had visited before the tour leader had got the needed visa ready for us in the related embassy. I could see the so-called visa, a document stamped on a page of my valid international passport.
Other than the Bahrain Bridge there are yet lots of well designed and beautiful bridge available in different countries. Here is the link leading you to see the top most popular bridges in the world. the Tower Bridge in London shown recalls me the children song, London Bridge Falling Down which was the first song I learned in primary school.
Wikipedia is the worth to visit site to acquire new info and knowledge. I like learning whatever I wish to know from Wikipedia as well. Hope you enjoy and appreciate the beautiful landscapes of those top bridges in the world
Happy posting
