Hubpages VS Squidoo?

I own some Hubpages & I also own a Squidoo page. Till now I had to promote my squidoo page more then my hub page in order for it to be ranked a bit higher. what do you think is the best ad-sharing site, squidoo or hubpages, do you know any other similar sites to hubpages and squidoo?

You will see return through squidoo first. They may seem similar but they are different. Doing both would be a good thing.
