Is writing good for creativity? why students need good handwriting

I have a TERRIBLE handwriting, I have to PRINT to be able to read it! I don't think good handwriting is an indication of anything but a person without anything else to do with their time.

Yes, even though most of us type everything from articles to papers to hand in for school, you still need to have good penmanship. Writing allows you to be creative as well.

We live in digital age and not in 80's. When I went to my IT school, I never wrote anything at a paper. Everything we wrote was at our computers and if some one forced us to do something else, we complained and refused to do it. Good hand writing is not needed but people should understand it. A lot of people with good grades write very strange and I can't read it although they got all good grades back in the time.

They should practically but doctors don't practice that. I think may be they are professional.

Good hand writing and usign powerfull words is necessary in todays world. So students have to prepare them selves for good writing from begining of the study. It can impact good impression on others. there are other benifits, One students whos writing not good & another student whos writing are very good both give exam & answer same qestions then examiner will give more marks to god Writing student then bad.

Yes for me, a person's writing should be legible so that other people will be able to read what was written. A writing will be useless if it cannot be read by others. An unclear penmanship can lead to misinterpretations and can cause negative impressions or events. A written document will also be erroneous if it is not readable. I believe that we should really by sensitive enough with our writing and make it sure that it is readable by others. God bless!

Good handwriting is good, but sometimes that does not happen. If you break your wrist, or are injured, your hand is weaker and you cannot write as good. You have to have handwriting that people can read, but it does not have to be perfect. If you cannot write, you can always print.

I remember when we were in our junior class our teachers put great importance on handwriting. We do have special hours for handwriting training. The teacher gave us a special small lined exercise books where we have to write the alphabets repeatedly until my hand sore from writing hundreds of words. It was tough training but well worth it as it is something that I am proud of till now. My handwriting is almost like typewritten. The teachers nowadays don't emphasize on the importance of handwriting as I see the students now have handwriting worse then the doctors handwriting.

Well, I suppose having good handwriting makes it easier for others to read what you've written, so that's one reason why students would benefit from having good handwriting.

actually creativity is a gift from heaven. and we are creative and unique. if somebody has the talent to do such so much talent then they'll be thankful for that. and handwriting depends on the person. if they kept on practicing writing then their handwriting will improved. if they dont then nothing happens. and according to my boss before is that what is your handwriting that's your personality. whew

I think that legible handwriting is always inportant, if you are a student or not. Where I work the residents have to handwrite in a log if their rooms need anything fixed or repaired. This has caused problems because they write so horribly that often we cannot read what the problem is.

Writing is an expression of creativity or rather creative critical thinking as creative writing is generally thought of as poetry, prose or fiction. Everyone should have good legible handwriting.
