Points everywhere (online buying, credit cards)

I linked my credit card to a upromise account and I earn a little more money each time I use my credit card so that I can pay off my student loans a little earlier. I like it, though it takes a wile to earn a little extra something in that account. I can't seem to find people who would be wiling to help since most of it is bought online.

Point reward is just an incentive from the bank for their cardholders. However, it makes swiping our card become more valuable than just paying with cash. But for enjoying this facility, we must pay some amount of annual fees. But some banks will free their cardholders from annual fees with some conditions. Credit card is a great invention for consumer needs.

I have a card that accumulates points which can be redeemed for cash. What I do is I will buy whatever I'm buying with cash through the credit card, and then when I get home I use my online banking system to pay the card the amount I charged. This way, I'm not charging but I'm still getting credit for the points.

I believe that no company will give you free gifts unless you invest in it. Now this investment can be in any form like the interest rates you pay on each transaction or late fees. I don't use my credit card much. It is a trap of companies to attract a lot of users by their sweet plans so that they can earn more and more. I am not at all attracted by such offers.
