Which one do you use? Why? I don´t like the taste of marguerine so for me it´s butter. But lately, because of cholesterol levels, I´m also trying to use olive oil instead of butter for some uses. How about you?

Butter is very expensive here. It's not as expensive as olive oil but still not good for family budget. So I use margarine instead. It may not as tasty as butter but we can adapt it.

I don't eat margarine. I don't think that fake food is good for anyone or anything. At least butter has some natural Vitamin A in it, which margarine doesn't. The cholesterol is a natural cholesterol, too, which our bodies recognize.

For me it is butter over margarine since margarine increases heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter according to a recent Harvard Medical Study. Besides margarines is just but ONE MOLECULE from being PLASTIC... I do use extra virgin olive oil a lot too since it is even healthier than butter. butter is just better on toast.
