I loved this movie, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless mind, even today, since it first came out, i cannot seem to get enough of watching it over and over. The question raised on this plot is basically the theory that not only our brain has a memory, but so does our heart. well, not really our heart. our emotions and thoughts all come from our head. so i guess i answered my own question huh :/ no, really, if part of our thoughts are erased, specific parts of our memory is taken out. is it true that our emotion will never forget that what we feel for this particular person will always be the same. and we never forget? i think the same goes for the movie 50 first dates. it tackles the theory about someone losing their memory and yet managed to recall someone out of genuine love. it is a very romantic idea. and i absolutely adored it because no matter how i look at it, i see no loopholes in the story. even though the idea of erasing someone's memory is too ambitious to even think it's at all possible. but what about you? did you like these films?
