Has anyone notice that the Lincoln Penny has a new look...

Today by chance i notice that the 2009 Lincoln cent has a new look about it...the back of the penny's Lincoln Memorial has been replace with a log cabin...

I have not noticed it yet, but i will be on the look out for the new ones. I just went through the penny's in my jar and i do not have any of the new ones yet. I will have to put them aside with all my new state quarters........... I just put up a few of each of them.

I didn't notice that. I looked it up and discovered there will be four different pictures on the back this year to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Lincoln's birth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_cent#Changes_to_the_Lincoln_cent_in_2009

Thanks for the link i guess its cool to honor the man even if people don't care to pick up a penny these days...maybe this will at least get Americans attention...
