How bad is the current financial situation?

hi to all Well,I was wondering for economists out there, is the fall of 2008 going to turn into a full blown Stock Market crash in 2009 pretty much like 1929? have a nice day.

I sure hope not. I cannot imagine things getting any worse for me here right now. I don't know why, but I feel things will get better not worse. 2009 will turn out to be a good year. At least I believe it will. Take care, have a nice evening.
