I believe that men and women can be just friends. For example I have a friend thats a guy and we've been friends since high school. He is just like a brother to me, he has become a big part of the family. But when I started dating my boyfriend, he had a problem with this. He said that men and women could not be friends and not have relations. We argued about this for a while, but I decided why should I lose my best friend over something stupid. So I told my boyfriend that he would just have to deal with our friendship. My boyfriend still dosen't like the fact that were still friends, but maybe in time he will get over it.

no, i dont think my personal experiences teach me and got some experiences saying tht men and women are not friends. The best thing men and women are strangers even they love each other deeply they will hide their secrets.

I have plenty of male friends, and my husband has plenty of female friends. Now WE have a lot of mutual friends of both genders, because of all the people we knew before we met, and all the people we met after we met eachother. People who think otherwise are jealous and insecure, and I have no time for them.

I think it depends on the person. I have a friend who has a guy as a friend and thats all they are. They don't hook up or have feelings for eachother. But with me, it's hard for me to have a guy thats just a friend. Something usually ends up happening. I have a guy friend that I haven't hooked up with before, but Im sure he would if he got the chance. I think it would be really cool to have a guy friend that doesnt want that from me. I think it is possible but hard to find.

I don't quite get what you are driving at?
Your boyfriend since high school reacted when you got hold of a dating boyfriend?
That sounds weird to me. If you had a relationship with your high school boyfriend, he has by all means to react this way.
But the thing is, this is a special dating boyfriend to you. Someone special.
Why break up? This is confusing for me, don't you agree?

No, he was my friend since highschool and we've been friends ever since. I think of him as a brother, nothing more. I've never ever felt an attraction to him. My boyfriend shouldn't get mad because he is just a friend. Right.
