I think our chocolate lab, Greta, would "fetch" herself to death.

This is one happy dog. She loves to be wherever we are and if you will play fetch with her she is like a pig in mud. We actually have to be aware of how much she has run and make her take a break to get a drink and rest. Have you ever had a dog that would just play and frolic with happiness? She is a great dog that is 4 years old. We got her about a year ago from some friends who couldn't keep her anymore. I absolutely love this pooch. She is a sweetheart.

Yes, I had one like that,Before this one I have now.We would chase each other up and down the hall and she had one toy she would fetch, nothing else.I always had to stop before she did. She was a playful dog The one I have now wants to be pettied all time. Take care of her.

Eventually the pooch will wear out. I have a couple of dogs that were playful, good thing we put them on our sleep schedule.

Yeah, it would definitely be a pain if they were up at night wanting to play. I have never outlasted Greta playing. I think she has energizer batteries.

I have a Boston Terrier and a Rat Terrier, Gus and Cookie, that love to play tug. Gus is a huge BT, they are usually 8-20 pounds but Gus is 37 pounds and all of it is muscle, his head reaches my knee. His jaws are tremendously strong and it's all I can do to keep hold of the toy! Sometimes he gets it away from me. Cookie isn't very strong but she sure can shake her toy. I love my dogs, too! They both also love to chase a laser light. Cookie will chase it in circles till she gets too dizzy and she falls down. I think she enjoys getting dizzy.

Besides Greta we have a MinPin named Zippy and a little mutt named Batman. They like tennis balls and squeaky toys. It is like having furry children.

I can create a picture of what you are conveying off your lab.i feel all the labs are the same during their active first few years. When we throw them any item to pal y on grounds they run mad and get the thrown item in their mouths and come's out a with a whole load of the dirt and mud.labs run very fast and being so enthusiastic can also get them into some pain off falling cutting and all,but we as do g lovers must take an step forward with their safety.labs are simply so cute and lovely with their facial expressions too.

Yes, we are always watchful of the area where we play with her. She would not look out for obstacles herself, we do it for her. I love her so much and wouldn't want her to get hurt while we were having so much fun.
