What do you guys think about changing someone's qualities before they are even born?

I disagree with some of the miracles of genetic engineering because it is very likely. Playing with living beings, we do not know how they evolve and can always get out of control. God created us in balance, we destroy it slowly, creating all sorts of mutants. It's best to do research, but something beneficial to us as we improve and perfect human being who we are. Whatever you want, we are not masters of the universe and we have limited powers. We will not win if we resist the divine creation that we can not equal God. A disturbing element of the system change the whole system, and the balance is hard to reach.

genetic engineering is a big issue with the catholic church to where i belong. but i think the fact that it was able to be done, am not really sure if they already did this already, means genetic engineering can either improve or be discarded because of its danger or impossibility of success. but i think what is important is the reason why fate allowed man to even find a way to do this or even conceptualize about it.

Evolution depends on random mutations. If you take that away by controlling someone's qualities, we might leave something very important behind. Diversity is strength.

bad idea, unless for medical reasons like avoiding a transfer of a diease. Should we do it though for just purely want, I would say no, because everbody needs to be unique
