always wanted to ice skate

Ever since I have been a little girl, I've always wanted to wear those cute uniforms and glide across the ice. It's very hard and you really have to be focused. But still always wanted to be part of that.

It is awfully beautiful to see the ice skaters especially in competitions. The way they make it seem so effortless when they jump. Ice skating is without a doubt my favorite sport to watch. I know I could never do it though. I am clumsy as a hippo and I bet I would hurt myself. Also, I don't like the cold. Its great to watch though.

exactly, that's how I would have said it. They are so graceful, but i could never do it. My favorite sport to watch too.

You should take beginner lessons , they help you feel a good bit more confident and you are not the only one struggling to learn it at the dame time. I dont do all the fancy steps my kids do, but learned how to skate ,turn, stop and go backwards. We did this as a family outing for years. Many fond memories there.

That sounds like a great idea. I would probably feel real self-conscious because all of the little kids doing jumps around me and me falling on my butt of the time.LOL!! But everyone had to start somewhere, Right? :o)

i have skated for about 10 years. i like this sport,and i feel so relaxed when i was skating.in fact, when i was a little girl and learn how to stand on the ice, i was very nervous ,too. and then my teacher told me that just relax yourself and do everthing by your own way, like what he said,shortly afterwards,i can skate on the ice.
