Anyone else feel that CSI has gone downhill since Gil left?

I have always liked CSI and like all the characters. I do miss Gil and Warick. It was a sad time when they left the show but I also like the new twists and turns that Ray Langston has added since joining the show. It is like the soaps that are constantly adding and changing characters. I thought it was good to see the development of some of the lesser cast being put out there on their own story lines.

I have only watched it once since Gil finally left and I didn't like it at all. Now instead of being worried that I am going to miss it I have a different show I watch. I guess I am just going to have to go out and buy the dvd sets so I can just watch and rewatch all of the old ones over and over. As long as I don't watch Warick die again I will be ok.

This is true. Its always good to get new people. I just miss Gil. I miss Warick too. He was my second favorite. It's understandable that they get other jobs and must move on. Sometimes we just get so attached to them.

The ratings sure dropped when William Peterson left the show. Its not the same and clearly the fans have spoken by turning off their televisions. I'm sure when he is the guest star that people will turn on their televisions to watch him.

I would definitely watch it if he made an appearance. I have missed it a lot since he left watching Hell's Kitchen but I would miss that to see him in the place he needs to be.
