i will be heading to Disney World this Friday for my next door neighbors three year old daughter. We will only be going to one park so we have chosen Animal Kingdom so she can see a couple of good shows like lion king and the Nemo show and maybe go into Dino Land for the kiddie amusement stuff. What else do you think we can do at Animal Kingdom? I know we can go pet the animals too.

Like you, I'm not particularly fond of Animal Kingdom, especially when compared with the more exciting Magic Kingdom. However, I visit Animal Kingdom every time I'm at Walt Disney World because there's a show which I can't afford to miss --- the Lion King. While I'm there, I also pass by the Rafiki's Planet Watch to pet the little animals.

If I was going to chose just one park at Disney World to go to with a young child it would be Magic Kingdom. The rides are way more accessible to a younger crowd, many of them you can carry babies on to!

A girls her age will have lots of fun watching the beautiful birds that wander free at hte animal Kingdom. You just have to point them to her. There´s a safari where you sit in a safari looking truck and a guide (much like Indiana Jones) will tell you about the animals you are passing by. It´s a giant zoo but you don´t have to walk. Do not take her to the serpentarium: she´s too little for that and might be afraid.
You will have a wonderful time. Have fun!

Animal Kingdom is fantastic! The shows are great and you will love the park if you are an animal lover like me. Take it slow and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Here's a bunch of free printable disney coloring pages too...
