Need of laptop...

I am in need of laptop now.
Which brand is better one to buy?
I do not need high configuration. 1GB RAM, 13 to 14 inch screen size and the battery back up has to be high.
Please give your suggestions. The budget is $600 to $700. Not more than that.

hello... for me, I'm satisfied with my Dell inspiron 1420. It processed very fast and all its features are great! Though, I do not exactly know how much it coast overseas because I just bought it in our country. It's a core duo though but I think the price is economical. If you've got other choices than this model, it's ok but for me Dell's the best for now.

a lapto is very important tool in our todays life.so we should purchase our life inlaptop.it is very easy to use and it is portable tool.every where we can take this tool easily.so we need a laptop.we can do the office work also.so that we can get promotions.

You can pick up an Asus eee very cheaply, not one of the latest specification, but probably good enough for your purposes. Ebay has some good offers on cheap laptops as well and it might be worh checking that out. For $600 - $700 you can probably get a pretty good spec machine though if you are prepared to spent that much.
