Okay, this is a question for people who is over 18. Are you still depending on your parents for subsidy, or you are independent from them? More or less, I am still living with my parents, but I still paying their rent, because I have a job myself already. I should take care of myself until I save enough money to get my own place. I couldn't ask for my parents' subsidy for the rest of my life.

Hi, I'm over over over 18 but I still live at home. Even if i have a job, I still live at home but that does not mean that i am still dependent on them. Now, i have responsibilities like my share of the bills and groceries. Even my siblings who are away at work still see to it that they come home more often and still they share with the household expenses and even the chores.
Even if I live at home I can now do whatever i want where ever i like to go without permission but i still tell them where I'm goin though.
We do care for everybody at home.

I have been supporting myself since I was in college, I was a working student and I am proud of it. My mother calls me as her independent child as I am the only one in our family who became independent. I was taught by my father in an early age how to work with myself so thats why I became independent as I become older.

I moved away from my family at one point and was depending on myself. This was the first time out on my own and my rent was higher then my paycheck. I was actually living with a friend of mine. I've lived with a friend's family before as well and then moved back with family. Now I live with my fiance and his parents and they feed and clothe us. I've had jobs before and have bought my own food but as for a big load of bills, I have not had that yet. My fiance and I are preparing ourselves for it and may take classes per suggestion of his mom.
I appreciate your recent response to me on vegetables and I thought I would come to one of your discussions and return the favor.

that is embarassing, but yeah, I am still depending on my parents. Since the last time I couldn't afford my internet connection, it is hard for me to earn money online like i used to do. I used to get enough money every month to support my own living from the internet, but lately, I couldn't do that anymore because I have to go to the college again. That's why until now I am still depending on my parents. I wonder if one day I would be able to get my own job and help my parents financially.

When I am not at school I still do live at home. I don't pay rent or anything but they consider my rent paid for because of all the cleaning that I do while at home. I do more than everyone else there and I'm the one that keeps the house looking livable so they consider me earning my keep. I don't plan on living at home forever either. I may end up moving out here in a few months if things go well.

It is understood that the young people are eager to be away from their parents. Living by themselves could give more freedom, good opportunity to arrange their living, and less talking or even complaining from parents, sometimes in the form of excessive caring.
But living alone takes money, either in the form of rent or purchase. If in the same city, I would suggest you stay with parents until marriage, so that you can better focus on starting career, and saving for your own house.

Well I still live at home and I doubt ill move out since I have an awsome room and my house is damn big and I dont have enough money to buy an apartment. But someday if I do make a lot of money or win the jackpot somehow then I would love to buy a nice house or a nice apartment.

Hi dear..
Now I'm 21 and I am still with my parents. We in India stay with our parents till we get married. And most of us will stay with them till the end.Once we get a job, our parents will stop doing job and their children will be managing the family. We stay united at all the moments.
